I just got off the phone with Jim Jarmusch. He wants to film my family at the dinner table on August 4th. This is exciting.

What, are we looking for a more authentic Williamsburg? One that isn't filled with kids that get a leg up from mommy or daddy. My desire to be involved in a scene is less honest than yours because you have to work three shitty jobs?

Cocoa Market and Amanda Bynes
Why would someone want to corner the cocoa market? Why would someone as talented as Amanda Bynes even think of retiring? I am glad she has decided to come back.

Struggling
The Arcade fire is playing Madison Square Garden August 4th. Whenever I have seen a show at MSG (people that have been there usually do that) everything made sense, even at Grateful Dead shows, but Arcade Fire at MSG doesn't make sense.

I love Arcade Fire I just wish I understood them
Five years ago I was sitting around the office with my boss and we reached one of our uncomfortable silences and he said, "have you been listening to Arcade Fire?" I had heard a few songs on KEXP that I liked but in no way was I actively seeking out more info on the band and had no intention of buying the cd. I paused and said uhh, not really, only what I hear on the radio. He stared at me for a second and cocked his head to one side and said, that's okay, you probably just don't understand them." From that day, I have been on a quest to understand Arcade Fire.
